MANILA, Philippines — A low chance of rain is expected in Metro Manila on the morning of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s fourth State of the Nation Address (Sona) on Monday, July 28, according to the state weather bureau.
However, rain may develop in the afternoon due to localized thunderstorms, based on the Sunday forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
“In the National Capital Region or Metro Manila, where our president’s Sona will be held, we expect a relatively low chance of rain from morning to noon, while thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon to evening,” weather specialist Obet Badrina reported.
