By Jericho Rosales and Maris Racal emerged as the biggest acting winners at the 9th Entertainment Editors’ Choice Awards (The Eddys), organized by the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd).
Rosales was named Best Actor for his performance in “Quezon,” while Racal took home the Best Actress award for “Sunshine” during the awards night in Pasay City on Sunday night, July 5.
“My mother’s not watching this because she has Alzheimer’s and I don’t know why I want to say this but this is for you mama. I love you so much. To my family, when things get tough, I want you guys to know that you are my greatest mission. Nag artista ako para sainyo. Thank you Janine, for holding my hand,” said the actor, holding back his tears.
