By Celebrity couple Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo, alongside the latter’s former partner, beauty queen Carlene Aguilar, celebrated the gold medal victory of their son Calix at the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 88 fencing tournament.
On Friday, March 13, Calix captured the gold medal in the men’s épée individual event for the University of the Philippines (UP). The bout was held at the Makati Coliseum, where the young fencer secured the title with a 15-12 victory over De La Salle University’s Edan Ensamtan in the finals.
