By The House committee on ethics and privileges will reopen the case against suspended Cavite 4th District Rep. Francisco “Kiko” Barzaga on Tuesday, February 3, panel chairperson and 4PS Party-list Rep. JC Abalos said Friday.
Abalos said that the notice of the proceeding was served and received by Barzaga’s office on Thursday, January 29.
“We expect his attendance and full cooperation,” Abalos said in a statement.
On December 1, 2025, the House of Representatives adopted the recommendation by the ethics panel to suspend Barzaga after he was found guilty of disorderly behavior in relation to his allegedly inappropriate social media posts that were the subject of the complaint against him.
