By MANILA, Philippines — Senator Risa Hontiveros on Wednesday filed cyberlibel complaints against the personalities behind a viral video featuring a former Senate witness who accused her of coercing testimony against the Dutertes and alleged sex offender Apollo Quiboloy.
She filed the complaint before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) against Michael Maurillo—the one who made the accusations—and Pagtanggol Valiente, the YouTube channel and Facebook page that uploaded Maurillo’s video.
