By MANILA, Philippines — Hot and humid temperatures will continue to affect most parts of the country on Sunday due to the ridge of a high-pressure area (HPA), while the trough of a low-pressure area (LPA) spotted outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) will bring rain in Southern Mindanao, according to the state weather bureau.
In a morning forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said hot weather will prevail in Luzon, generally fair weather in Visayas, while Mindanao will have high chances of rain and thunderstorms.
