By ILOILO CITY — Several municipalities in Iloilo are experiencing dangerously high heat index levels, prompting authorities to issue health warnings as temperatures feel as high as 44 degrees Celsius.
Data based on PAGASA forecasts show that areas including Santa Barbara, San Miguel, Pavia, Cabatuan, Barotac Nuevo, Pototan, and Dumangas are under the “extreme caution” category, with heat index values ranging from 33°C to 44°C as of April 10.
