MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon, locally known as habagat, is forecast to continue bringing rains to most parts of the country, including Metro Manila, on Friday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Based on Pagasa’s morning update, weather specialist Loriedin De La Cruz-Galicia said the following areas in Luzon are expected to experience cloudy skies with a high chance of rain due to the habagat:
✨Metro Manila
✨Central Luzon
✨Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon)
Mimaropa (Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan)
✨Bicol Region
✨Pangasinan
