By MANILA, Philippines — The Senate should fire any employee who is proven to have used illegal drugs inside its building, Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian said on Friday.
“This is embarrassing for the Senate. We should be setting a good example for the people,” Gatchalian said in Filipino in a Viber message.
But according to Senate Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms, headed by retired police Maj. Gen. Mao Aplasca, they have already concluded their investigation into the alleged marijuana use incident and a report was already submitted to the Office of the Senate President.
