SB19, BINI, IV of Spades, the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, and Lolita Carbon were confirmed as performers of the first-ever iteration of The Filipino Music Awards (FMA), a ceremony that honors the artists, creatives, producers, and the best of OPM.
SB19, which debuted in 2018, established themselves as one of the biggest names in the current generation of OPM artists. Composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, they are known for writing their own music and knife-like choreography in performances.
Meanwhile, BINI consists of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena. Noted for their music that centers on women empowerment, the girl group is best known for their hit songs “Pantropiko,” “Salamin, Salamin,” “Karera,” and “Cherry on Top.”
