MACAU—Taoyuan Pauian Pilots moved on to the second phase of the East Asia Super League (EASL) Finals round after dominating Arvin Tolentino and Seoul SK Knights, 89-69, at Tap Seac Multi-sports Pavilion on Wednesday night here.
With the quarterfinals loss, Seoul bowed out of title contention, leaving no Filipino representatives–whether team or player–in the EASL, “We ran into a good team,” Tolentino said. “They were able to execute from start to finish. They’re obviously way bigger than us, that’s why they scored easily also.”
