By Celebrities are again at the forefront of public discussion following a commotion Wednesday night, May 13, that involved gunshots at the Senate building where Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa has been seeking refuge.
It was still unknown who fired the shots, but the incident took place right when the House of Representatives were to deliver the Articles of Impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte, and after the Supreme Court failed to issue a stay order on dela Rosa’s arrest by the International Criminal Court (ICC) over his alleged involvement in former President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs.
“Ang lala. Umabot na tayo dito!” Donny Pangilinan lamented while sharing via his Instagram Stories a report about the gunshot at the Senate premises. Pangilinan is a nephew of Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan who is now in the Senate minority.
