By MANILA, Philippines — Cotabato City in Maguindanao is forecast to have the highest heat index at a danger level on Black Saturday, while 69 areas are placed under extreme caution, the state weather bureau said on Good Friday.
In its 5 p.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Cotabato City may experience a heat index of 42°C. The danger category covers heat indices from 42°C to 51°C.
