Boy Abunda said that he used to be uncomfortable with getting associated with gossip or chismis.
The King of Talk admitted this during the latest episode of “Your Honor” hosted by Buboy Villar and Tuesday Vargas.
“There was a time in my career that I was bothered by, ‘Boy, anong chismis?’ It was a dubious reputation that what I was doing was delivering chismis,” he said. “Medyo naapektuhan ako.”
“Because ang pagkaunawa natin ng chismis ay hindi totoo, iniimbento at may kalakip na paninira.
Ang chismis ay ginagawa to demean, to derogate, sa kapwa. So ‘yun yong premise nung salitang chismis na parang wala lang, walang pinanggagalingan. Sinasabi lang kasi katuwaan,” Tito Boy added.
