By Belle Mariano, Piolo Pascual, Joshua Garcia, and Juan Karlos Labajo are set to tug at the heartstrings as they portray siblings whose lives are shaken by their mother’s (Maricel Soriano) refusal to do treatment amid her battle with cancer in the upcoming film “Meet Greet & Bye.”
Released on Wednesday, Sept. 17, the trailer opens with Pascual, Garcia, and Labajo sitting in the audience at Mariano’s graduation. The latter then takes the stage with their mother, who suddenly collapses.
Soriano last appeared in the drama film “First Light,” while Pascual is fresh from the success of the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry “The Kingdom” opposite Vic Sotto, Garcia currently stars in the Philippine adaptation of “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” opposite Anne Curtis, while Mariano’s last projects include the hit series “Can’t Buy Me Love.”
