Asian Games gold medalist and Brazilian jiujitsu athlete Meggie Ochoa revealed she has played her last competition for the national team.
In an Instagram post last Thursday, Ochoa recalled on her journey since 2018 until the Jiu-jitsu International Federation World Championship in October last year, which was apparently her last competition.
“The Lord shifted my attention from self to Him and to others reminding me of our overall ethic in life for those who are in Christ to love God and love others above all. He allowed me to see the various ways of bringing glory to His name beyond medals and performance throughout the experience of the JJIF Worlds 2024,” Ochoa wrote in the caption of her post.
