Actress Anne Curtis-Smith has backed the 2025 election bid of Akbayan party-list led by its first nominee, human rights lawyer Chel Diokno.
The “It’s Showtime” host’s expression of support was posted Friday on her account on X (formerly Twitter) as she responded to a video post by Akbayan.
In the video, Diokno greeted her belated happy birthday and thanked her for retweeting his electoral messages.
She said, “Maraming salamat po, sir Chel Diokno. Let’s go, Akbayan Party!”
