MANILA, Philippines — Cooler weather is expected in Luzon next week as the northeast monsoon or “amihan” will intensify starting Monday, February 3, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
“Pagsapit ng February 3, magsisimulang lumakas muli ang hanging amihan o northeast monsoon at ganun ang magiging scenario natin for the rest of February,” Pagasa weather specialist Benison Estareja said.
