By A 50 percent drop in crime incidents in just one week was recorded in the eastern part of Metro Manila, according to Eastern Police District (EPD) acting district director Col. Villamor Tuliao.
From Feb. 22 to 28 this year, the EPD registered six crime incidents, or a 50 percent decrease compared to the 12 incidents from Feb. 15 to 21.
Tuliao said this improvement was a result of the string of successful anti-crime operations launched by the EPD. He also attributed it to the “AAA” motto (Able, Active, and Allied) of the members of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
