A low-pressure area (LPA) east of Northeastern Mindanao and the southwest monsoon, locally known as habagat, will continue to affect parts of the country on Sunday, bringing rains and possible flooding, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its 4 a.m. bulletin on Sunday, PAGASA said the LPA was estimated at 3 a.m. at 890 kilometers east of Northeastern Mindanao.
The weather disturbance is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and the Davao Region.
