By MANILA, Philippines – Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero asked not to be included in the blue ribbon committee chaired by Sen. Erwin Tulfo.
At the special session Wednesday morning, Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri said while all members of the majority will be siting on the blue ribbon committee, Escudero requested not to be included in the powerful oversight panel.
The Blue Ribbon Committee is tasked with conducting inquiries in aid of legislation and has been at the center of investigations into major national issues, including the ongoing probe into alleged irregularities in flood control projects
