By POTOTAN, Iloilo, Philippines — Police seized more than P1 million worth of suspected crystal meth, locally known as shabu, and arrested a high-value drug suspect during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Cato-ogan here on Saturday, June 6.
The suspect, identified only by his alias Ian, 28, was arrested by operatives of the Pototan Municipal Police Station at 12:15 p.m. following months of intelligence monitoring.
Authorities recovered seven heat-sealed plastic sachets containing about 150 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P1.02 million based on the standard drug price set by law enforcement agencies.
