MANILA, Philippines — Suspected shabu worth P1.02 million was confiscated during a buy-bust operation in Manila on Tuesday, leading to the arrest of an individual, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said.
Acting on a valid authority to operate from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Manila police arrested the suspect along Sta. Maria Street in Barangay 818-A, Zone 88, according to the NCRPO.
“Recovered from the scene were one small and three medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu. The confiscated narcotics weighed approximately 150 grams,” the NCRPO explained.
