By Courtside reporter Apple David appealed for kindness and respect, after she confirmed that she and 18-year-old National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) basketball player Chad Gammad have been dating for a month now.
“I know it’s a very risky relationship because of the age gap, but it’s a risk we are both taking,” said David, 33, in an exclusive video statement aired on “Frontline Pilipinas” on Tuesday, May 26. “I hope people can be kind enough to allow us to do that in peace.”
David expressed gratitude to those who extended support to her and Gammad, while also apologizing to those who were “offended” by their relationship. She nonetheless stressed that the two of them are already adults.
