By Ogie Alcasid said he was unaware of reports that Vice Ganda is moving to GMA management, or that some hosts of “It’s Showtime” will soon get the ax, but the singer-songwriter said the group will remain “solid” amid all the challenges.
During the media conference for his Father’s Day concert called “Daddyokie,” Alcasid was seemingly taken aback when asked about reports that “Showtime” will soon let go of some of its mainstay hosts, or that Vice Ganda would leave the show to host his own show on GMA.
“Hindi ko alam. Wala naman akong naririnig na ganu’n. Hindi ko naririnig yan,” he said. This came amid reports that Vice Ganda had met with some executives of GMA to discuss a project with the network, or to host the musical game show “Everybody Sing,” which is originally a segment of “It’s Showtime.”
