By Authorities seized some P136 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested two drug suspects in a buy-bust operation in Naga City, Cebu, on Saturday afternoon, the regional office of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said.
In a report, PDEA said around 20 kilograms of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, were confiscated during the operation conducted at Purok Gaway-Gaway in Barangay Uling at around 4:50 p.m. on May 23.
Authorities said the operation was carried out by operatives from the PDEA Cebu Provincial Office, PDEA 7 Intelligence and Investigation Unit, Philippine Coast Guard Intelligence Group Central Visayas, Naval Forces Central, Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group, Cebu Police Provincial Office–Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, and the Naga City Police Office.
