ILOILO CITY — Several areas in the Visayas are expected to experience dangerous heat index levels this weekend even as isolated rain showers and thunderstorms remain possible due to the prevailing easterlies.
Based on Pagasa’s five-day computed heat index and two-day forecast released at 5 p.m. Friday, parts of Western and Eastern Visayas may record heat index levels ranging from 42 to 44 degrees Celsius through May 10, placing them under the “danger” category.
