By MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Authorities arrested two persons and confiscated some P714,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation at Sta. Trinidad village in nearby Angeles City on Thursday evening, April 23.
In a statement on Friday, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said the two arrested suspects were listed as “high-value individuals” in the government’s campaign against illegal drugs.
It said the operation was conducted by the city police drug enforcement unit, police station 2, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Pampanga at 8:10 p.m. on Thursday along Miranda Street Extension in the said village.
