By MANILA, Philippines–Adamson closed the Final Four door on University of the Philippines with a 25-19, 25-18, 25-16 sweep to strengthen its own semifinal bid in the UAAP Season 88 women’s volleyball tournament on Wednesday at UST Quadricentennial Pavilion.
“We just really stuck to what we trained for during preparation. We always tell the players to stay focused and locked in because anything can happen,” said Lady Falcons head coach JP Yude.
Shai Nitura led Adamson with 26 points on 23-of-42 attacks and three blocks, along with six digs and six receptions. She delivered nine and 10 points in the second and third sets, respectively.
