By MALASIQUI, Pangasinan – Authorities recaptured on Tuesday two persons under police custody who escaped in Sual, Pangasinan, Pangasinan Police Provincial Office information officer Capt. Aileen Catugas, in a statement, said the recaptures were Jerry Velasco Calib Jr., 26, in Sitio Madangla, Barangay Caoayan, Sual, Pangasinan, and Reynaldo Dizon, 40, from Domalandan East, Lingayen.
“The successful operation comes just two days after the escape incident on April 12, 2026, at around 12:30 a.m., involving the three PUPCs detained at the Sual Police Station,” Catugas said.
Calib is facing multiple charges, including violations of Republic Act (RA) 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act), while Dizon is facing charges for carjacking and violation of RA 9165.
