By MANILA, Philippines–Adamson outlasted University of Santo Tomas, 27-25, 25-20, 26-24, to move into a tie for third place in the UAAP Season 88 women’s volleyball tournament on Saturday at the FilOil Centre.
“We thank the Lord for the win and for giving the players courage in this game. We expected a tough match because we know UST will fight. I kept reminding them, especially in the third set, to keep going and not give up because anything can happen,” said coach JP Yude.
