By CALAPAN CITY, ORIENTAL MINDORO — Police arrested four individuals while one suspect remains at large following two separate operations on Good Friday against illegal cockfighting, locally known as “tupada.”
The Occidental Mindoro Police Provincial Office said operatives carried out back-to-back anti-illegal gambling operations in the towns of San Jose and Sta. Cruz, resulting in the seizure of betting money, fighting cocks and cockfighting paraphernalia.
