TUGUEGARAO CITY — Two men allegedly involved in the killing of three Maranaos during a botched P1.2-million gold sale were arrested in a police pursuit operation in Barangay San Juan, Buguey, Cagayan, on Friday, March 13, at around 3 p.m.
Police Captain Sheila Joy Fronda, spokesperson for Cagayan police, identified the suspects as alias Fred, 31, and alias Rod, 48, both residents of Buguey town, Authorities recovered from the suspects a 9mm pistol, an M16 Armalite rifle with a defaced serial number, assorted magazines and ammunition, improvised firearms, a rifle grenade, a bag and three mobile phones.
