By MANILA – More than PHP112 million worth of illegal drugs were seized from a Malaysian at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 in Parañaque City over the weekend.
The Bureau of Customs reported Monday that inspectors discovered approximately 16.526 kilograms of suspected shabu concealed in the checked-in luggage.
The suspect was subjected to inquest proceedings for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
