By MANILA, Philippines — Police Senior Master Sgt. Diane Mollenido and her son, John Ysmael, were allegedly killed when suspects attempted to scam them with a supposed car deal, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said on Tuesday.
“The transaction began last Dec. 15, [2025]. Diane wanted to buy a Montero. Her agent was Pia [Katrina Chua Panganiban]. She offered her a Montero,” NCRPO Director Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin said in Filipino in a press briefing in Camp Crame.
