By LUCENA CITY — Authorities arrested an alleged high-level drug trafficker and seized 50 grams of “shabu” (crystal meth), an illegal firearm, and a hand grenade during a buy-bust operation on Thursday, Dec. 11, in Antipolo City, Rizal province.
In a report Friday, Police Region 4A said the suspect, known only by the alias “Bitoon,” was nabbed after selling P8,000 worth of shabu to an undercover officer along Marcos Highway in Barangay Inarawan at around 9 p.m.
Operatives recovered 11 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing about 50 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P340,000 based on the Dangerous Drugs Board’s valuation.
