LTO places alarm on SUV in Commonwealth Avenue hit-and-run

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) said on Tuesday that it has placed under alarm an SUV after its driver abandoned a motorcycle rider who was injured following a collision along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City last July 11. 

LTO chief Vigor Mendoza II said that the agency had issued a show-cause order against the owner of the SUV.

“We already identified the registered owner of the Land Cruiser and we already issued a show cause order. We are yet to determine if the owner was the driver of the vehicle that time, this will be the subject of the ongoing investigation and the reason why he was summoned,” said Mendoza in a statement.
