MANILA, Philippines — Heavy rains are forecast to pour over Metro Manila and several Luzon provinces on Friday due to the combined effects of Tropical Depression Bising and the southwest monsoon, or habagat, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In its heavy rainfall outlook on Friday morning, Pagasa said Bising will bring heavy to intense rainfall, with 100 to 200 millimeters of rain expected in Ilocos Norte.
Heavy to intense rain, also ranging from 100 to 200 millimeters, is likewise expected in Pangasinan, Zambales, and Bataan due to the habagat.
