By Senate impeachment court spokesperson Atty. Regie Tongol said Wednesday that the impeachment proceedings will push through even if Vice President Sara Duterte does not comply with the writ of summons that was issued concerning her trial.
To recall, Duterte was given a non-extendible period of 10 days, starting June 11, to answer to the articles of impeachment against her. Since June 21 is a Saturday, the Vice President’s camp still has until June 23 to respond.
