MANILA, Philippines — No low-pressure area or tropical cyclone is expected within and outside the Philippine area of responsibility until the end of the week, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
But the state weather bureau said the easterlies, or warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, will prevail in the country on Tuesday, bringing overcast skies and scattered rains.
“Wala tayong nakikitang anumang low-pressure area or bagyo na papasok ng ating Philippine area of responsibility hanggang sa matapos po ang linggong ito,” Pagasa weather specialist Benison Estareja reported in a Tuesday morning forecast.
