The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) vowed to support any measure that would prohibit fake news in the country.
At a news briefing, press officer Undersecretary Claire Castro even anyone outside the Palace would want a ban on disinformation.
“And personally, when I was one of the resource persons dito sa TriCom, I even suggested a registration of all content creators to avoid this kind of fake news,” Castro said.
Speaking with Palace reporters, newly appointed PCO Secretary Jay Ruiz committed to fighting disinformation and disseminating to the public the projects of the Marcos administration.
