By une Mar Fajardo brushed off any serious concerns surrounding his hyperextended right elbow that forced him to miss San Miguel Beer’s 123-109 win over Macau to open the 2026 PBA Governors’ Cup campaign.
In fact, Fajardo bared after Tuesday’s triumph at Ynares Center here that he’s likely to be available by the time the Beermen return to practice and the team’s next game in the season-ending conference this weekend.
The injury happened when Gilas faced Australia in Perth to close out the first round. It was also the same game that saw Fajardo log significant minutes in the second quarter, eventually finishing with eight points, six rebounds and three assists.
