Typhoon Inday further weakens, packing maximum sustained winds of 150 km per hour and gusts of up to 185 kph, the weather bureau said Friday.
It was located 620 km. east of Basco, Batanes as of 4 a.m., moving northwest at 20 kph., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
Strong winds will be experienced in areas under wind signal no. 1: the rest of Babuyan Islands, the rest of mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, the northern portion of Abra (Tineg, Lagayan, Danglas, San Juan, Lagangilang, Licuan-Baay, Malibcong, Lacub, Daguioman, Dolores, La Paz), Kalinga, the eastern portion of Mountain Province (Natonin, Paracelis), the eastern portion of Ifugao (Aguinaldo, Alfonso Lista), and Ilocos Norte.
