MANILA, Philippines — A low pressure area (LPA) may enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) by Thursday or Friday this week, the state weather bureau said on Wednesday.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said that as of 3 a.m., the LPA was spotted some 495 kilometers northwest of Pag-asa Island,Palawan.
“Based on our data, this LPA may enter PAR by Thursday or Friday. And during those days, it will be west of extreme Northern Luzon,” Aurelio said in Filipino.
