By Judy Ann Santos is gearing up for her upcoming film “Aid,” a political drama directed by Brillante Mendoza and starring French actresses Jeanne Balibar and Stacy Martin.
Santos’ new film was confirmed in an exclusive report on the US-based entertainment platform Variety, which will be co-produced by Filipino and French production companies.
“Aid” tells the story of Rudy Dela Cruz (Santos), the head of a non-governmental organization dedicated to protecting Aeta children. She soon finds herself involved “in the broader machinery of international humanitarian aid.”
