By “I’m Not The Only One” singer Sam Smith and British fashion designer Christian Cowan, who have been in a relationship for over three years, drew engagement talks after their appearance at the 2026 Met Gala.
Smith, who goes by the pronouns they/them, and Cowan were reportedly overheard speaking about their engagement during the event, as per a “hotel lobby spy” that was cited by media outlet Page Six.
