By MANILA, Philippines — Easterlies will continue to affect the country on Thursday, causing generally fair but hot and humid weather, with scattered rains expected afternoon until evening in some areas, the state weather bureau said.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the easterlies are the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean that prevail over the country.
