By MANILA, Philippines–La Salle marched into the UAAP Season 88 women’s volleyball Finals after completing an elimination round sweep on Sunday at Mall of Asia Arena.
But the Lady Archers’ 27-25, 15-25, 23-25, 25-23, 15-13 win over National University came with late-game drama.
La Salle held a 14-13 lead in the fifth set when it was initially called for a four-touch violation. Coach Ramil De Jesus, however, challenged the play for a possible block touch on NU.
