“Sinlaku has weakened into a typhoon category, and we are no longer expecting it to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR),” weather specialist Chenel Dominguez of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
