By MANILA, Philippines — Senate President Pro Tempore Panfilo Lacson confirmed on Wednesday the existence of a draft blue ribbon committee report recommending the filing of plunder and other criminal charges against senators Francis “Chiz” Escudero, Joel Villanueva, Jinggoy Estrada and resigned Ako Bicol Party-list Representative Zaldy Co over anomalous flood control projects.
In a chance interview, Lacson told reporters that the draft report was routed to senators on February 3 and was actually signed by six lawmakers, namely Senators Juan Miguel Zubiri, JV Ejercito, Win Gatchalian, Risa Hontiveros, Bam Aquino, and Kiko Pangilinan.
